Nationaloekonomische Gesellschaft (NOeG)
Austrian Economic Association

The NOeG is a non-profit association with the objective of promoting scientific progress in the field of the theoretical and applied economic sciencies.

In the field of the applied economic sciencies, the independed and objective analysis of the economic performance of the Austrian economy is a main goal of the NOeG.



The annual meeting of the NOeG in 2018 will be held on May 11th and 12th at the TU Wien (Technische Universität Wien). The conference is open to all economic research areas. Main topic will be the  future of health care systems.

NOeG hosted a Workshop specifically aimed at Austrian researchers abroad and junior scientists from December 19 to 21, 2017. The program can be found here. (German) 

The Austrian Economic Association has awarded three NOeG Dissertation Fellowship in 2017 in order to promote junior scientists. The award went to Cornelius Hirsch (WU Vienna), Margit Reischer (Cambridge) and Katrin Zocher (JKU Linz).
